# Choosing an IP option for cloud-phone work

Compare included IP types, location needs and proxy compatibility before paying for an additional network service.

            In short

Choose an IP option according to the application and location you need. PhoneCloudify lists datacentre IP on Starter, 4G mobile IP on Growth and 5G mobile IP on Scale; a mobile label alone does not guarantee account approval, latency or anonymity.

## Start with the included service

Check whether the selected plan already includes the IP type you need. Compare the complete device and network cost instead of adding the same capability twice. Ask about a specific country or carrier before purchasing.

## Confirm external proxy support

If you already have a proxy, confirm its protocol, authentication and compatibility with the service. Review the third-party provider’s privacy terms and service limits. Keep private credentials out of public support messages.

## Test the relevant path

Evaluate connectivity from the delivered device to the actual application you use. Performance and reputation can vary across routes and destinations. A promotional latency number or sample ASN is not a test of your connection.

## Document changes

Record network changes and test their effect on your application. Do not rely on address rotation to bypass platform restrictions or replace a valid account recovery process.
