# What is a cloud phone and when does it fit?

Understand remotely hosted Android, compare the plan options and budget for the complete first purchase.

            In short

A cloud phone is a remotely hosted Android environment operated through a connected interface. It can suit authorised client work, application testing or a separate work device, while reducing the physical equipment you manage yourself.

## What you are buying

You are purchasing access to the selected Android resources and service conditions, not ownership of a handset. Compare the plan’s Android version, memory, storage, IP type and seats. Confirm the functions you need before ordering.

## How the plans differ

Starter lists a datacentre IP and one seat. Growth includes a 4G IP and five seats; Scale includes a 5G IP and unlimited seats. Apps may have their own compatibility and verification requirements regardless of the plan.

## How to budget

Monthly service rates start at $12.90, while the minimum initial prepaid-credit load is $35. An order above the minimum or a preset top-up can require more. Review the service charge and payment amount separately, including optional services and external wallet or network fees.

## How to start

Confirm the configuration, create an account and pay using the asset and network displayed at checkout. Payments are verified automatically; service preparation follows confirmation. Read the refund and verification policies before paying, and test the delivered service with an authorised workflow.
