WhatsApp bans on device signal, message velocity and report rate. It also silently kills numbers registered from environments it does not recognise as phones.
The problem
WhatsApp registration binds a number to a device identity. If that identity looks synthetic, the number is either rejected at registration or banned within days regardless of behaviour. On top of that, Meta scores outbound message velocity, the ratio of messages to replies, and how quickly recipients block or report you — which is the operational half nobody can engineer away.
Device model, hardware IDs and integrity verdict are captured during SMS verification and bound to the number.
WhatsApp Web and desktop sessions add their own signals to the number's profile.
Outbound rate, unique-recipient ratio and reply rate scored continuously.
The single strongest ban predictor. Above roughly 3% blocks, no device quality saves you.
Virtual numbers from known VoIP ranges are treated with suspicion at registration.
Reused media hashes and backup identifiers link numbers together.
The answer
Registration passes because the device is a real handset with a genuine integrity verdict and a matching carrier IP. Each number lives on its own identity with its own media store, so nothing links your numbers to each other. We also expose per-number velocity guardrails in the RPA layer so you cannot accidentally exceed the rates that get numbers reported.

Playbook
Ten days. Slower than it looks necessary, because WhatsApp bans retroactively.
Register with a number matching the SIM country. Set a photo and an About. Send nothing.
Exchange messages with 3–5 known-good numbers. Receive at least as many as you send.
Join 1–2 groups. Keep the send/receive ratio close to 1:1.
Begin outbound at 20–30 messages a day, only to numbers that have your number saved.
Scale to 150–200/day maximum per number. Never cold-blast.
Watch the block rate weekly. Above 2%, pause and change the message.
